作者背景:杜廼松，男，漢族，1937年6月生於北平。 1962年畢業於北京大學歷史系考古專業，畢業後供職於故宮博物院，協助著名古文字、青銅器學專家唐蘭先生作研究工作。 對故宮博物院的青銅器藏品進行整理和鑒定，並從事古文字和先秦兩漢史的研究，發表了學術著作二十余部。多次主持、參加大型文物展覽。 曾參加全國書畫文物鑒定專家組，負責為全國各地博物館鑒定青銅器及其銘文。現為故宮博物院研究館員、故宮博物院學術委員會委員，享受政府特殊津貼。
