Author Biography:Dr Helen Wai-Ngan Schreiber
Dr Helen Wai-Ngan Schreiber has been practising as a paediatrician for over 30 years in Germany, integrating Chinese and Western holistic natural medicine. Born in Hong Kong, she was a graduate of Wellesley College and Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the USA, and the Hong Kong University Faculty of Medicine in 1978. She specialised in paediatrics in Britain and Germany, M.D. at the University of Saarland 1987. The joint “Practice of Holistic Family Medicine” together with her husband was founded in 1992. Her interests also include health issues of women and bio-identical hormones. Music, photography and writing are among her hobbies. “Path with a Heart” was a collection of essays in Chinese, English and German published in 2001.
